In the Indian Air Force Common Admission Test 2023, the application fee for all classes has been kept at Rs 250. Candidates can pay the application fee online mode.
Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2023 Age Limit
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 Years
- Ground Duty Technical and Non-Technical Branch: 20 to 26 Years
- Age Calculation: 1 January 2024
- Relaxation in the maximum age limit will be given to the reserved categories as per the rules of the government.
Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification
For Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, the applicant must have the following qualifications:
Flying:
- Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and
- (a) Graduation with a minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
- (b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
Aeronautical Engineering Electronics:
- 10+2 Intermediate Minimum 50% Marks in Physics and Math and Minimum 4 Year Graduation / Integrated PG Degree in Engineering / Technology.
Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical:
- Candidates with a minimum of 50% Marks Each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level and 4 Year Engineering / Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or an Equivalent Degree
Administration and Logistics:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream with at least a Minimum of 60% Marks
- Physical Eligibility: Height Male: 157.5 CMS | Female: 152 CM
Accounts:
- B.Com / BBA / CA / CS with at least Minimum 60% Marks
- Physical Eligibility: Height Male: 157.5 CMS | Female: 152 CMS
Education:
- Passed 10+2 and Post-Graduation with 50% marks in any discipline including integrated courses offering PG (Single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry) and with 60% marks in Graduation in any disciple.

Meteorology:
- Passed 10+2 and Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together (Provided Maths and Physics were studied at Graduation Level with a minimum of 55% marks in each)

Indian Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern
- The Online examination will consist of objective-type questions and will be in English only for both AFCAT and EKT.
- The standard of Numerical Ability Questions will be of Matriculation level.
- The standard of questions in other subjects will be of graduation level (Indian University).
- Three marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
- One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
