In the Indian Space Research Organization Recruitment 2022, the application fee for the General, OBC, and EWS categories has been kept at Rs 250. The application has been kept free for SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PWD, and women.

ISRO Recruitment 2022 Selection Process

The qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for an Interview. Shortlisting of the candidates for Interviews in the ratio of 1:7 shall be based on the GATE Scores awarded and not on GATE marks or GATE Rank.

The candidates will be assessed based on the following attributes, viz. Technical (Academic) knowledge [40 marks], General Awareness in relevance to the area of Specialisation (technical) [20 marks]; Presentation/Communication Skill [20 marks], Comprehension [10 marks] and Academic achievements [10 marks], totaling 100 marks.

In this, it is mandatory for the candidates to obtain a minimum of 60 marks in the interview. While PWD candidates have to obtain a minimum of 50 marks in the interview. Thereafter, 50% weightage will be given to the GATE score and 50% weightage to the interview will also be given for preparing the final panel.
